- Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Perform procedures such as IV insertion, airway management, and neonatal ventilator management
- Manage acute pain and provide pain management interventions
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages
- Specialize in ophthalmology or working with people with developmental disabilities (optional)
```Experience:```
- Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of [New York]
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Proficient in conducting physical examinations and diagnosing acute and chronic illnesses
- Experience in primary care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (e.g., Athenahealth)
