- The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, common areas, and the hotel premises. The Housekeeper reports to the Head Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms.
Stock guest rooms with essential supplies, including toiletries, towels, and linens.
- Clean common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms.
- Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitized, including floors, walls, and fixtures.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and request supplies as needed.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to the Head Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager.
- Assist with laundry operations, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests as needed
