Sales Loan Associate

At Five Star Jewelers, we are currently seeking Sales Loan Associates who specialize in fine jewelry and watches. You will provide personalized recommendations, educate customers about their purchases, and create a memorable shopping experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Ø Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly and professional manner. Provide personalized consultations to understand customer’s preferences and guide them in selecting the perfect jewelry pieces. Offer expert advice on jewelry styles, trends, and care techniques. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with tact and efficiency. Be able to build rapport with clients and offer individualized attention to create a luxurious and exclusive shopping experience.
Ø Product Knowledge: It is essential to have a deep understanding of our jewelry and services. This includes being familiar with the brand’s history, the quality of materials used, and the craftsmanship involved in creating each item. Staying informed about industry trends, new product launches, and market developments. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills. This knowledge enables sales associates to engage customers effectively and position themselves as trusted advisors in the world of luxury jewelry.
Ø Sales & Revenue Generation: Proactively engage with customers to drive sales and achieve revenue target goals. Utilize product knowledge and sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell jewelry pieces. Maintain a deep understanding of inventory and effectively communicate jewelry unique selling points and pricing to customers. Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling payments and gift wrapping.
Ø Visual Merchandising: Maintain an aesthetically pleasing store layout is crucial. Sales associates may be involved in ensuring that products are displayed attractively and that the overall visual presentation of the store aligns with the brand’s image.
Ø Client Relationship: Building long-term relationships with customers is a key aspect of the role. Sales associates should keep detailed records of customer preferences, purchases, and special occasions to facilitate personalized recommendations and outreach. Proactively reach out to clients for special events, promotions, and new arrivals, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
Ø Operational Tasks: Apart from direct customer interactions - responsible for tasks such as processing transactions, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that the store maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Skills and Qualifications
Ø Authorized to work in the United States.
Ø Willingness to undergo background testing and drug screening.
Ø High School Diploma or GED.
Ø Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Ø Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ø Passion for luxury retail.
Ø Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is required (Jewelry experience is a plus.
Ø Excellent communication skills.
Ø Strong interpersonal abilities.
Ø Proactive sales approach.
Ø Must be able to perform basic financial calculations.
Ø Attention to detail.
Ø Knowledge of fashion trends and luxury brands.
