This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant at ERPM. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial management tasks, including bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with property leasing and other administrative tasks as needed. This role is based in midtown Manhattan, with flexibility for some remote work.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial concepts, with expertise in areas such as accounts payable and technical accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Yardi and experience in property management is ideal. Duties:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Collaborate with property managers to develop and implement financial strategies

- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Yardi to record and track financial transactions
- Provide financial reporting and forecasting to support Principals and Board members
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and technical accounting principles
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and errors
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of property management is a must
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
