CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
YHR PARTNERS – Architects
YHR Partners Architects is located in Moorhead, MN specializing in institutional and commercial buildings. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of five years of commercial construction experience to join our team as a Construction Administrator and Estimator. Responsibilities:
· Prepare project estimates and maintain YHR’s Partner’s Estimating Database
· Assists Project Architect in preparing specifications to complement construction documents for projects.
· Prepare general correspondence such as meeting minutes, respond to RFI’s, ASI’s, PR’s Field Reports and process Change Orders.
· Review and certify contractor’s application for payment, review material test reports.
· Review and discuss options and make recommendations to owners when changes are requested.
· Perform site visits, participate in construction progress meetings, and prepare reports for construction projects that are in progress.
· Provide substantial and final completion services.
Education:
· A Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or Architecture or equivalent combination of education and commercial construction experience.
Requirements:
· Good interpersonal skills and should be able to communicate professionally with all levels of management when working with clients, contractors, and consultants.
· A passion to learn and develop professionally
· Ability to make decisions and resolve construction conflicts on behalf of the firm,
· IT literacy with a variety of software with an emphasis on: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
· Ability to exercise independent judgment and diplomacy.
· Excellent writing and communication skills.
· CSI CDT and/or CCCA credentials a plus but not required.

- Collaborate with project managers to facilitate effective project management practices.
- Monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction administration or a related field.
- Proficiency in contract management and familiarity with industry software such as Bluebeam and ProCore.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling tools like Primavera.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and experience with HeavyBid is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Background in project management or construction management is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites and communicate with diverse teams.

Pay: $78,029.00 - $82,812.00 per year
