We are an established and reputable small business on the Main Line looking for a Sushi Chef to join our team and to prepare delicious, fresh sushi daily for our customers. To be successful in this role, you should have an attention to detail, high quality standards, and friendly customer service. Ultimately, you will help us maintain our reputation as one of the best takeout sushi spots on the Main Line.
Responsibilities
- Create a rich sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw fish
- Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi
- Select and prep fresh produce (avocado, cucumbers, carrots, etc) for making sushi
- Make sushi rice, wasabi, spicy mayo, tempura flakes, etc.
- Consider special requests and food allergies
- Monitor food inventory and supplies
- Maintain hygiene principles in all cooking areas and clean your space at the end of each work day
Qualifications
- 2+ years of work experience as a Sushi Chef
- Available to work Monday through Saturday (~50 to 60 hours per week)

Compensation is a base hourly rate plus revenue share.
