Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, fine dining, and culinary arts. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and visually appealing dishes while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality of food meets the highest standards
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook or relevant position in the food service industry
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant field is a plus
