Idaho Wine Merchant is seeking candidates for Administrative Support. The qualified candidate will be able to work in a collaborative environment with many team members assisting in tasks related to several departments including purchasing, accounting, sales and brand management.
Founded in 1977, Idaho Wine Merchant is a wholesaler/distributor of Wine, Beer and Low Proof Spirits throughout the state of Idaho. We are locally owned and headquartered in Garden City, Idaho. We are looking for a creative, dynamic individual who is equipped for a fast-paced environment and has the capacity to learn many different aspects of the company. This role is a developmental position that requires intellectual curiosity, strong organizational and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist Purchasing Manager/team with various tasks including order confirmations, logistic follow-up and vendor support.
- Effectively communicate and support operations team with information when needed.
- Assist in office including reception, occasional phone answering, customer communication and order entry.
- Shared responsibility for assisting with employee and company sponsored events.
- Understand and follow all operational policies, employee handbook and procedures.
- Contributes to a positive team environment.
- 40 hours/week M-F 8 am - 4 pm

- Strong analytical and organizational skills and time management are essential.
- Comfortable with detailed reports and database interfacing.
- Must be able to interact and communicate professionally with internal and external persons.

Education/Experience:
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suites and proficient in excel.
