Record Retrieval Specialist - Production
Liberty Litigation Support LLC, a growing litigation support firm located in the NW Houston / Cypress area, needs a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Record Retrieval Specialist. The successful candidate should have prior record retrieval experience at a court reporting/record retrieval company, experience in the legal field, or have worked as a paralegal or legal secretary requesting medical and business records. A positive attitude, excellent time and attendance, a desire to learn and grow, and excellent communication skills with peers, clients, and vendors are a must. Applicants must be familiar with processing record orders by authorization and subpoena. Attention to detail and a focus on creating a quality work product are essential. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining our reputation as a stellar performer clients have come to expect.
Records Retrieval Specialist responsibilities:
- Receiving records obtained by authorization and subpoena
- Follow guidelines for quality control at every stage
- Phone calls, emails and/or faxes to Facilities to Acquire Missing Items
- Updating Status Notes for Clients
- Uploading records to portals
- Various Clerical Tasks
- Electronically file documents with the court system
- Processing and reviewing invoices received from facilities
- Create legal documents to efile
- Printing and mailing records
Skills:
· Experience with the record retrieval process
· Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat
· Experience with MetaRecords 8 record retrieval software
· Highly organized and detail-oriented individual
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Take direction and work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
