About The Role: Dive into the heart of the magic as our Schools & Group Booking Coordinator! You'll build exciting partnerships and drive visitation with local schools, children’s groups, corporate partners, travel and tourism operators, and more. In this dynamic role, you'll support and deliver innovative marketing strategies, ensure efficient order processing, and help set the tone for an unforgettable guest experience. Compensation is $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications & Experience:Your Responsibilities:
- Engage & Connect: Be the primary point of contact, managing telephone and email communications with school and daycare programs, corporate groups, travel and tourism contacts, scouts, and group coordinators.
- Book & Confirm: Drive guests to book their school, group, and birthday party visits online or assist them in creating reservations via desktop software, ensuring all logistical details are communicated to the operations team.
- Strategize & Implement: Develop and execute robust marketing strategies to promote advanced ticket purchases, focusing on increasing midweek visitor volume and driving revenue targets.
- Collaborate & Report: Work closely with the Marketing Manager on weekly/monthly reports and provide status updates on projects and tasks.
- Deliver & Delight: Adopt an enthusiastic, assertive, and passionate approach to guest service, consistently demonstrating the Merlin Values.
- Network & Represent: Participate in trade shows and conferences to showcase our attractions and build valuable connections.
About Your Work Environment:
- Flexible Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday, 9 am-5:30 pm, with occasional opportunities to work evenings, weekends, or holidays with advanced notice.
- Dynamic Setting: Primarily based in a shared office, but you'll also engage in tasks within the attraction and mall areas.
- Full-Time Opportunity: This is a full-time, hourly position offering a vibrant and engaging work atmosphere.
About You:
- Sales & Marketing Savvy: Experience in group sales, event coordination, or marketing is preferred.
- Customer Service Expert: Previous call center or customer service experience is a plus.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong computer skills and proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Multi-Tasking Pro: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Organized & Adaptable: Highly organized, flexible, and detail-oriented.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Energetic & Enthusiastic: Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.
