We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join our team. The QA Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance within the organization, ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The Quality Assurance Manager will report directly to the President of DIGI America.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain quality control processes across all stages of product development, from initial concept to final delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing facilities, production processes, and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and customer service, to address quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance trends, identify root causes of quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage customer complaints and feedback, investigating root causes of issues, implementing corrective actions, and communicating resolution to customers.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance and incorporate them into the organization's quality management system.
- Prepare and present quality reports and updates to senior management, highlighting key findings, areas of improvement, and recommendations for action.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization, promoting awareness of quality standards and encouraging employee involvement in quality initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, or related field; advanced degree or certification in quality management is preferred.
- Proven experience in quality assurance management, with at least five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
