CNC Automotive & Diesel Repair is looking for a highly qualified Diesel Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on virtually all makes and models including:
● Medium & Heavy Duty Diesel (Mercedes Benz/Daimler, Volvo, Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso,Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Mack, CAT, Paccar, Peterbilt, Western Star, and more)● All domestic, Japanese, & Korean makes & models
CNC Automotive & Diesel Repair sets itself apart by specializing in atypical repairs, as well as, conveniently offering ordinary services and maintenance. These may include:
● General Maintenance (brakes, tires, preventative maintenance, etc.)
● Diagnostics (general, electrical, and specialized in any of the makes above)
● Programming (control modules, security, and tuning in all vehicle classes)
● Fabrication, Hydraulics, and Exhaust (including heavy machinery and off road applications)
● Complex Engine and Transmission repairs and rebuilds (all vehicle classes)
● Custom, Classic, Purpose-Built, Performance, Industrial, Commercial, and more!
Responsibilities
● Listen to, identify, and address any customer's concerns.
● Thoroughly inspect every vehicle in your care for any needed repairs or maintenance.
● Notate all findings on your work order. This includes upcoming repairs and maintenance to inform the customer to prepare for and schedule such services.
● Determine the priority of the noted repairs and maintenance.
● Confer with your Service Advisor for them to complete an estimate for the customer.
● Perform quality repairs: take the time to do the job right, use proper products and supplies, and if you don't know-- ask!
● Communicate with your fellow Technicians and your Service Advisor. Communication is key to every area in the shop from safety, to productivity, to customer satisfaction, to your satisfaction as an employee.
● Keep it clean! It is every Technician's role to ensure that every customer's vehicle is as clean as when it arrived, to clean any messes and properly dispose of fluids before/after each job, to maintain equipment, report any equipment malfunctions or concerns immediately, and to take out any trash, as needed.
● Go with the flow! As a Diesel Technician, you should be familiar with what an efficient workflow looks like. Of course, things happen beyond our control that can inhibit that workflow, but you’ll be expected to work around such “Road-blocks” to the best of your ability.
Skills and Achievements
2+ years of proven education and/or experience as an Diesel Technician.
Exceptional knowledge of all standard vehicle operational systems
Ability to operate various tools & equipment (e.g. Lift, ball joint press, A/C machine, etc.)
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
Certification from a vocational school or Completion of Apprenticeship and H.S. Diploma is preferred
MO State Safety Inspector’s license preferred
MUST have your own toolbox and tools (specialty tools are not required, but are a plus)

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
