TRIO Pharmacy Services is a closed-door pharmacy where you can focus on fulfilling the pharmaceutical needs of our long-term care and senior living clients. We service long term care and senior living communities in the bi-state area. We offer a non-retail pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Triage, interpret and process orders into pharmacy computer system while meeting accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy.
- Ensure orders are processed according to pharmacy cutoff times and within expected delivery windows
- Performs drug calculations including basic mathematical calculations
- Provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers and provide empathetic care.
- May assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Performs other tasks as assigned, which can include assisting in any area of the pharmacy as directed by management.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy or healthcare related experience, 1 year or more, a plus
- Basic understanding of brand/generics, medical terminology, and computers
- Detail oriented; team player, customer focused service, great communication skills, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to form professional relationships with customers
- Pharmacy Technician License.
