Project Manager
We are a civil construction company based in Rome, NY and we are in need of a Project Manager in the Galveston/Houston area!
We have an upcoming project that will require a high level of civil construction experience.
$80,000-$100,000/year salary, depending on experience.
This individual must have experience in the USACE, Construction Management, and Project Management. Nice to have skills include Heavy Civil Construction and some commercial Steel Buildings, Industrial.
Position Overview:
The role of the Project Manager is to plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish. The Project Manager will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will manage the overall project from conception to completion, including coordination of personnel, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and develop construction projects in accordance with USACE standards
Create detailed project plans, including materials, labor, and subcontractor management
Develop detailed cost estimates for projects
Manage the budget and timeline for projects
Oversee the progress of projects and ensure all deadlines are met
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials and services
Coordinate with project teams to ensure all tasks are completed on time
Monitor and report on project progress to ensure completion within budget and timeline
Resolve any technical or project-related issues that may arise
Ensure projects meet all safety requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in project management or related field
Experience working with USACE standards
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
