OSG is looking for an experienced supervisor to join our Operations Team! We need a dedicated individual with strong communication skills and a very flexible schedule. An ideal candidate would have supervisory experience, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and a willingness to work where the support is needed in the moment; i.e., covering security officer shifts in the field, working on administrative projects in the office, etc,.. Experience in the security field is not required for this position. For the right candidate, we are confident that they can be brought up to speed on security fundamentals in a short amount of time.
The first few weeks in this position will be focused on training and evaluating your performance in this role. It is essential that any candidate interested in this position have a flexible schedule and a willingness to take the initiative on issues and projects that arise. Candidates who have not met the OSG management team’s standards during their training period will be reassigned to a non-supervisory position or terminated, if applicable.
Primary responsibilities will be to maintain day-to-day OSG operations. Those tasks include:
- Answering Operations phone calls, identifying call outs or no shows, dispatching for shift coverage, and adjusting the master schedule.
- Auditing security officers’ patrols, reports, site inventory, etc. to ensure compliance and schedule follow ups to ensure resolution of any issues.
- Conducting security officer training or issuing disciplinary/corrective action as needed while maintaining comprehensive notes on employee job performance and attendance.
- Monitoring supervisor correspondence across multiple platforms including MS Outlook, MS Teams, and other internal reporting systems to proactively seek out items of concerns and seeing the matter through to resolution.
- Implementing, configuring, and maintaining site equipment including but not limited to vehicles, lock boxes, cell phones, TrackTik scan points, geo-fence, temporary post orders, etc...
- Coordinating with the supervisory team to ensure a swift response to client concerns/instructions.
- Coordinating with OSG Managers to complete projects and administrative tasks assigned from various departments within the company.
