(LCPC/LCSW)
Position Overview: Thrive Ahead Co. is seeking a full-time, fully licensed mental health therapist (starting part-time) to join our professional community serving clients online and at our Chicago/Bucktown location. This W-2 position, while supporting clients with other mental health concerns, focuses on supporting clients with disordered eating habits and embracing HAES (Health at Every Size), non-diet, and non-restrictive eating practices. Additionally, the therapist will collaborate with our registered dietitian/nutritionist to provide comprehensive care. Candidates with experience in somatic work, chronic pain, or ADHD and neurodiversity are highly considered. Individuals should be committed to fostering a collaborative, community-oriented atmosphere and be an ally to the LGBTQ community.

Reports To: Jenn Graus, LCPC and Practice Owner
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical therapy sessions online and in-person to clients of Thrive Ahead Co., as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies with evidence-based practices.
- Support clients with disordered eating habits and overall mental health concerns.
- Embrace and promote HAES principles, non-diet, and non-restrictive eating habits.
- Collaborate closely with our registered dietitian/nutritionist on the team.
- Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
- Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are applicable to the services performed for Thrive Ahead Co..
- Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Thrive Ahead Co. website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.
- Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
- Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Thrive Ahead Co. or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week). Keep patient files accurate and up to date.
- Communicate with clients the payment processes for therapy services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Thrive Ahead Co. Client and insurance payment collection are handled by support staff.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, supervision and trainings as directed by Thrive Ahead Co.
- Actively engage in networking and connecting with wellness professionals/resources in the community
- Develop your niche through participation and facilitation of workshops and events
- Other duties may be assigned
Highly Considered Experience:
- Somatic therapy techniques
- Chronic pain management
- Experience with and training around ADHD and neurodiverse populations
Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:
- Align with Thrive Ahead Co. mission, vision, and values.
- Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work
- Active, unrestricted professional license in the State of Illinois. A copy must be provided to Thrive Ahead Co.
- Available to hold at least 25 patient sessions per week through in-person and telehealth visits, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Thrive Ahead Co.. and block out 30 hours weekly for clients to schedule during - 15 hours being completed in office
- Able to see client 3 evenings per week OR 1 weeknight evening and 1 weekend day
- Be organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently.
- Be a team player
- Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Current approval as an in-network provider with BCBS (preferred)

Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 per direct clinical hour for fully licensed
