Position:
The Associate Trust & Estate Advisor is responsible for establishing trusts and designing wills and other contractual documents that optimize the inter-generational transfer of wealth. This role is a key member of the collaborative, team-centric approach to client servicing across the Wealth Management division and participating in business development efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage fiduciary relationships and apply knowledge of fiduciary and estate planning strategies to benefit current and prospective clients

Acts as key client contact through business development efforts and is accountable to revenue generation goals
- Apply knowledge of fiduciary account management, taxations, securities transfer, and state and federal laws governing trusts and estates to balance the interests of the client, protect account assets, and minimize risk
- Identify additional areas of service to offer current clients and convert opportunities for additional service and new business into engagements for the firm
- Serve as a thought leader on trust advisory services by educating internal staff, speaking publicly within the specialty area, and writing articles for publication
- Responsible for building a network of centers of influence with clients’ other advisors such as attorneys, other tax preparers and asset managers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- JD/LLM preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in trust servicing and administration

Previous experience working with DE Trusts is a strong preference
Skills:
- Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask and reprioritize within tight deadlines
- Pragmatic problem-solver who enjoys educating advisors
- Excellent communication skills on complex matters, both written and oral
- Extensive knowledge of the trust and estate business
Compensation Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $95,000 to $105,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
