Job Overview: The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in managing the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee retention. This position requires a detail-oriented and people-focused professional who can develop and implement effective HR strategies to support our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing and networking.
2. Onboarding:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure new employees have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
3. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on various topics, including company policies, procedures, and professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
4. Employee Retention:
- Develop and implement employee retention strategies to reduce turnover and increase job satisfaction.
- Conduct regular check-ins and stay interviews to understand employee needs and concerns.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through various initiatives and programs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee recognition and rewards programs.
5. HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience in the HVAC or construction industry.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
