Payroll and HR Administrator
Our westside client seeks a dependable Payroll and HR Administrator to support their team on a short-term contract assignment. Responsibilities of the Payroll and HR Administrator
- Review and process bi-weekly payroll including benefits administration and garnishments.
- Ensure accuracy of payroll, timecard, and HR data; research and reconcile discrepancies.
- Set up and maintain employee records ensuring compliance.
- Perform ad-hoc payroll reporting and auditing.
- Respond to HR and payroll-related inquiries.
- Support recruiting activities (onboarding, offboarding, etc.).
- Provide administrative support including answering phone calls, filing, and scheduling meetings.
Payroll and HR Administrator Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience supporting payroll, HR, and recruiting functions.
- Knowledge of current payroll and employment laws and regulations.
- Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs); exposure to ADP a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual Spanish and English highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organized with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.
Salary: $25-$28/hr. (DOE)
