Quality Assurance Manager Summary:
Provide consistency by supporting, training, and evaluating all aspects of the homebuying and home building processes from the “tickled, delighted and happy” (TDH) experience, through and with emphasis on, construction quality, customer care, customer communication and inter-department communication and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Support all associates, by reviewing all aspects of the home building process, on each community, to help make homeownership an extraordinary TDH experience.
Evaluate and review the quality of workmanship, by touring each community, on a regular basis and by reviewing trade evaluations.
Communicate with team, on each community, on a regular basis, to help support and build strong team relationships.
Review the Heightened Awareness Report on each community and help achieve the division standard in construction quality, job safety, job cleanliness, and construction administration.
Evaluate the customer care on response time, outstanding calls, and customer TDH results along with customer care managers.
Take photographs, for training and evaluation purposes, of excellent examples of good work and of areas for improvement.
Evaluate all aspects of the Zero-Defect Closing process.
Review the Forensic Reports and help associates be successful at closing of open items and managing the Red Folder Process.
Telephone customers to discuss construction quality, customer care, overall sales process and mortgage in a professional and courteous manner. May have to respond to upset homebuyer’s concerns and issues.
Participate in QCs on all communities.
Communicate information from reports and data with Division Presidents and department heads.
Review Heightened Awareness Program and suggest improvements.
Achieve substantial improvement in the customer satisfaction ratings as set forth by the division.
Qualifications:
Seven (7) years of experience as a Project Superintendent/Construction Manager and/or Customer Care Manager preferred
High school diploma or GED required
Strong written and oral communication skills
Basic skills in Microsoft Office
General overall departmental procedures
Valid, unrestricted Motor Vehicle License
Interact well with co-workers
Comply with and implement company policies and procedures
Detail oriented with a high degree of construction knowledge
Strong work ethic
Accept constructive feedback
Team player
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Require the ability to work in excess of eight hours if needed, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read building plans, climb stairs, bend stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Finger dexterity will be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Telephone calls to customers will be required.

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $66,560.00 - $107,218, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
