Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Director of Finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. This role is crucial in supporting Trustpar's growth and ensuring the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s business objectives.
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data and market trends.
- Accounting and Reporting:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external operations
- Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Lead the internal annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance throughout the year.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve financial efficiency.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure alignment with budget and business goals.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Oversee risk management activities, including insurance coverage and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and regulations.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Partner with the executive team to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan.
- Provide financial leadership and guidance to support business decisions and drive growth.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Investor Relations:
- Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
- Prepare and present financial information to employees and senior leadership team

Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least a year in a senior financial leadership role.
- Experience in the technology or managed services industry is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks, Cube, FP&A Genius, Jedox, Connectwise, Excel, and other AI platforms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
