Gateway Stem Academy – WHO WE ARE
Gateway Stem Academy is a comprehensive public charter school that currently serves grades K-8 located in Burnsville, Minnesota with 150 students. We are a one-school district with a majority of our students coming from the surrounding communities of Burnsville, Shakopee, Apple Valley, and Savage. As a charter school, we strive to prepare our students for high school success by laying a solid foundation in academics.
Gateway Stem Academy values diversity with over 90% of our students proudly having an ethnicity of Somali and East Africa.
Gateway's Middle School math teacher will have a comprehensive curriculum and small class sizes. We have 20 students in 6th grade, 20 students in 7th, and 15 students in 8th grade.

Qualifications:
Minnesota Teaching License
