Indoor facility maintenance worker
The Facility Maintenance Worker performs routine preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure the facilities are clean, safe, and functional for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as repairing broken locks, replacing light bulbs, cleaning/repairing filters, and fixing minor leaks.
- Maintain our Turf fields on good conditions
- Maintain our field areas (Fix goalie nets, Patch turf fields, Clean our boards, etc)
- Develop and follow a maintenance schedule for routine upkeep of the facility.
- Identify potential issues before they become major problems.
General Facility Upkeep:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling.
- Maintain the grounds, including landscaping and keeping the parking lot clean.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Capability to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces).
- Comfortable with standing, bending, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Experience in facilities maintenance and general maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and electrical systems.
- Background in residential painting, manufacturing, and customer service.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.80 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
