Role Overview
Fraser's Mathematics Solutions (FMS) provides comprehensive training around high-quality mathematics teaching and learning for educators and families, creates innovative STEAM programs for students, and supplies students with "The Dope Math Product Line" of notebooks, pencils, and rulers to help them ILLUMINATE in the math classroom.
We are seeking a knowledgeable Manager of Curriculum & Training to design curriculum, facilitate on-site and virtual workshops, job-embedded coaching, and other programs, coordinate training, grow team members, and manage the department’s logistics. The ideal candidate for this role must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education OR 5+ years of relevant experience in mathematics education (teaching, curriculum writing, etc.). The candidate must show their ability to train and manage teams of various sizes.
You will be working closely with the CEO, HR Manager, Operations Manager, Project Managers of Math, Math Illuminators, Math Instructors, and Translators/Interpreters to ensure that all program and project deliverables, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Experience working in a startup culture is a plus.
The Manager of Curriculum & Training must be a creative problem-solver and critical thinker who can demonstrate patience and perseverance, take initiative, and have keen decision-making skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and deliver engaging professional learning experiences for school and district partnerships
- Upon mutual agreement, agree to additional responsibilities to support the team, contributing flexibly to the team’s success
- Monitor onsite and virtual workshops to ensure school and district partnerships are receiving high quality services and implementing necessary changes.
- Appropriately schedule Project Managers and key staff based on school and district partnership needs.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and HR Manager to design and implement internal training programs
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and HR Manager to hire various staff
- Collaborate with executive team on company initiatives
- Coordinate the development of new and revised math curriculum
- Conduct check in meetings with staff on a regular basis
- Conduct monthly, and as needed, internal training sessions for staff to promote professional growth and build positive staff culture
- Keep informed on the latest research, trends, and developments in all areas of education, especially mathematics and STEM

Additional Expectations/Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education OR 5+ years of relevant experience in mathematics education (teaching, curriculum writing, etc.)
- Proficiency in using G-Suite including Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Forms preferred
- Familiarity with current technologies, i.e., desktop sharing, cloud services, tech management tools
- Must be dressed in professional, casual attire
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and professional behavior at all times.
- Represent Fraser’s Mathematics Solutions in the most positive manner with prospective, former, and current clients.

Working Conditions

- Must have reliable transportation - a valid driver’s license highly preferred

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
