Synergy Medical Systems, LLC has an urgent need for a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for you to join our dynamic and experienced team at Synergy Orthotics & Prosthetics in Tualatin, Oregon where we prioritize patient outcomes, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
As a CPO at Synergy Orthotics & Prosthetics, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care and developing customized prosthetic and orthotic solutions. You will be involved in all aspects of patient management, from initial assessment to fitting and follow-up care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate prosthetic or orthotic devices.
- Design and fabricate in-house or scan and design, but doing what is best for each individual patient ensuring quality and customization.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients with device usage, care, and maintenance.
- Continuously strive for improved patient satisfaction and outcomes through problem-solving and innovation.
- Provide administrative staff with information on conducting reimbursement activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations; compliance with Medicare; compliance with blood borne and Occupations Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics, which must be maintained and in good standing. (Required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in in-house fabrication and customization for all O&P devices.
- Proven track record of effective networking and relationship building within the healthcare community.
