Job Summary:
The Professional Engineer (PE) will work in our transportation or utilities department, closely with fellow engineers, technical specialists, and clients to deliver innovative solutions for complex infrastructure challenges. This role offers an exciting path for individuals eager to advance their careers and contribute to our expanding operations. The individual selected for this role will maintain and expand on existing and new client relations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop plans and specifications using staff and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Perform QA/QC procedures to ensure adherence to authoritative and firm standards
- Prepare preliminary engineering reports
- Support project bidding and construction administration
- Mentor junior-level staff
- Actively participate in business development, lead generation, and contribute to proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent project management skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to support contract negotiation and execution
- Proficient in developing project fees and estimates
- Proven success in managing tight project schedules
- Able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Capable of working collaboratively as part of a team or independently
- Effective at working with experts across multiple disciplines with varying approaches
- Proficient in software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, BlueBeam, Civil3D, AutoCAD, or other relevant design software, and able to participate in design and plan development
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)
- Five or more years of relevant professional experience in Transportation or Utility Design
- Current Professional Engineer licensure in Florida or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
