COMPANY: Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia provides inpatient psychiatric stabilization and treatment to adults and older adults experiencing acute symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood swings or psychosis. Services are provided by psychiatrists, nurses, therapists and other professional staff who are dedicated to improving the quality of life of our patients.
The Director of Quality and Risk Management:
- Implements and facilitates the Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs.
- Directs hospital compliance with laws, regulations and the standards of the accrediting and approval agencies, including state licensure, CMS and Joint Commission.
- Coordinates compliance activities with the Haven Compliance Officer.
- Oversees implementation of policy and procedures.
- Serves as the hospital Safety Officer and EOC Coordinator.
- Serves as Compliance Liaison
- Should have a base knowledge of life safety and environment of care requirements for joint commission.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare related field. Master’s level degree preferred
EXPERIENCE: Five years experience in healthcare with 3 years behavioral health experience preferred. Knowledge of laws and regulations of federal, state and local governmental agencies. Should be knowledgeable about the standards, rules and regulations of accrediting agencies as applicable to the facility preferred. Must be experienced in Performance Improvement / Quality Assurance and Risk Management in a leadership capacity.
