We are looking for a Video / Content Production & Marketing Assistant to help support our marketing and video production services for our clients. We work with many clients in the sciences, manufacturing, biotechnology, and architectural/construction industry - but we also work with many small businesses, hospitality, and lifestyle brands.
An ideal candidate will be a sharp-minded individual who is excited to work with a diverse roster of businesses and is excited to apply fundamental marketing techniques across different industries.
This position will require you to work flexibly within disciplines, including studio and equipment organization and maintenance, basic video editing, post-production workflows, and general studio production tasks. We ask that all of our team members be cross-functional and show up willing to learn new skills every day.

Example scenarios of your workday:
1. We manage many live streamed events each month. You might create and organize recurring digital assets that will be used during each live stream. You might also support the production team onsite or remotely as a live-stream moderator.
2. We are onboarding a new client. You might intake all of their existing creative assets and ask them for any logos, graphics, collateral that we need to store on our server in an organized manner for the team to use.
3. We need to prepare a monthly report on the success of a digital advertising campaign. You might pull references and examples of content produced from multiple sources to be shared with the marketing team so that a report can be created.
4. We are producing a video in our studio, you might prepare the studio and set up lights, backdrops, and organize equipment for filming.
General Responsibilities:
- Clean, organize, and prepare video production studio for filming sessions
- Back up, organize, and sort footage for post production workflows
- Perform basic, rough cuts and edits on videos before they are handed to video editor for final production
- Take long form video content and edit them into short form reels and social media posts
- Provide creative ideas for content marketing and video strategy
- Provide assistance to the video production team
- Provide assistance to the web design team
Skills that we are looking for:
- Basic knowledge of video and photo equipment
- Basic knowledge of post production workflows and editing techniques and software
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
- Excellent time management and self-starting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects.
Important Software Understandings:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, After Effects)
- Google Product Suite (Google Meet, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Data Studio)
- Microsoft Product Suite (Teams, Word, Excel)
- Detailed understanding of different file types: png, jpg, webp, eps, ai, psd, pdf, etc. How they are used and their differences.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
