**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join Pueblo Radiology Medical Group. The Ultrasonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical anatomical, pathological, and functional data.
Required license: ARDMS and/or ARRT with emphasis on ARDMS
Preferred level of experience: At least two years of experience in acute outpatient or hospital setting. Not required.
Responsibilities:
· Procedures: Performs a variety of diagnostic sonographic and non-invasive vascular procedures in accordance with department and national standards. Reviews the patient record prior to examination and obtains history from the patient. Must have training and practical experience in the following areas: Abdomen, OB/GYM, Vascular, Intracavity exams, Segmental Pressure Studies, small parts, Peripheral Vascular Bypass grafts and a variety of invasive studies requiring ultrasound guidance. Open to learning breast US and operations.
· Documentation: Responsible for accurately completing records, daily quality assurance and improving information capture, and meeting all regulatory standards.
· Equipment: Calibrates, maintains and troubleshoots sonographic equipment. Optimizes equipment and supplies to benefit operations.
· Supplies and Inventory: Stocks work area daily. May be involved in ordering and stocking general supplies.
· Safety and Education: Complies with clinic standards. Practices Body Substance Isolation and always abides by infection control policy. Completes education necessary to maintain licensure of certification required for position.
· Communication: Posses excellent communication, customer service and human relations skills. Communicates with physicians and other members of the team concerning patient status, diagnosis, or related information. Operates multiple communication and telecommunication systems. Coordinates scheduling for diagnostic exams. Communicates with team members by regular participation in staff meetings.
· Implements care/service that recognize age/diversity specific needs/issues of customers served.
· Performs other duties as required.

Pay: $42.00 - $52.00 per hour
