Tomo Club is an educational gaming curriculum for grades 3-12 to learn 21st century skills via social games and simulations. We form a network of curious kids, who make friends through games played in synchronous sessions. Each session is structured to give the children enough time to play and foster SEL skills in a safe and collaborative atmosphere.
We are looking for a Moderator who can manage live educational gaming sessions for students in the US.
Job type: Contractual (Minimum-3 months)
Pay: $25 per hour
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working with children to help foster their social and emotional learning skills on an online platform like Zoom
- Completing assessments post sessions
- Attending training sessions and game sessions for moderators
- Ensuring a safe environment for each child during the sessions
- Being open to learning and playing games!
Eligibility criteria:
- Based out of California
- Past experience in teaching kids or working with them
- Proficient in Spoken English
- Tech friendly to manage zoom sessions and the games
- Enthusiastic about learning
