Qualifications:
· Must have strong communication skills, be a team player with a positive attitude, and will need to be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
· Strong logical thinking skills
· Must possess the ability to read and understand directions/procedures in equipment manuals, understand how to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions.
· Hands on knowledge of volt meters and other test/measuring equipment, must possess the ability to solve electrical problems (such as maintenance of automation equipment, wiring equipment, connecting airlines, power supply, AC/DC motors and control cabinets). Experienced with troubleshooting up to 480v 3ph equipment, and experience with troubleshooting control circuits.
· Must be able to work with PLCs and HMIs (Programming of the frequency drive), perform basic PLC programming skills for troubleshooting equipment and associated processes
· Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools (such as electric drills, drill press, saws, grinders, pneumatic and hydraulic tools)
· 5+ years' experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance preferred
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Respond to any equipment issues or breakdowns in a timely manner, possesses the ability to prioritize work based on production needs.
· Perform preventive maintenance on various production equipment to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, develop and refine preventive maintenance procedures for the equipment, properly maintain automation equipment, and associated machinery to designed standards.
· Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot and repair defective circuitry and electronic components, use data from machine to analyze and evaluate performance and determine adjustment needed.
· Repairing electrical and pneumatic devices, install and maintain electrical control systems and solid-state equipment, troubleshoot pneumatic circuits, maintain tooling and fixtures as needed to support production.
· Read and understand electrical schematics.
· Experience in the installation of new or moving of existing equipment to improve the operations efficiency.
· Experienced with CNC mill, lathe, surface grinder.
· Understand how to operate equipment, and to have knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
· Familiar with RO and DI water systems.
· Ability to rebuild old machines.
· Have a basic understanding of computer hardware and programing.
· Capable of operating an industrial forklift and scissor lift.
· Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
· Maintain time logs, spare parts inventory, and email communication
· Interaction with OEM technical support and plant personnel
· Follow safety rules and regulations, including wearing the proper PPE, following LOTO procedures, and accident reporting procedures
