We are looking for a smart, kind, and driven professional with industry experience to join our rapidly growing, top producing Development team. The Utilities Manager is responsible for supporting our Permitting & Construction teams by ensuring all utility/water/sewer/alarm account set-ups are completed in a timely manner to ensure project timelines are met. They will be responsible for promoting effective communication and collaboration amongst team members and ensuring all projects’ current statuses are transparent and maintained regularly. The Utilities Manager must be able to communicate effectively within our diverse team as well as with outside consultants/vendors and be able to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Single Point of Contact responsible for dry utility, water, sewer, and alarm documentation, applications, and account set-ups for ground up construction projects.
- Manages all utility/alarm contracts review & execution, ensuring timely application.
- Single point of contact for utility/alarm installations and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of required services to prevent delays in opening new stores.
- Assists with site verification for internet installations.
- Accurately documents project utility and vendor status.
- Responsible for reporting of project status, estimated and actual dates.
- Management of a robust Pipeline with over 100+ active projects.
- Works in collaboration with Development Team members and all other company departments in a team environment.
Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction or Project Management, or related field preferred or 5 years relevant work experience.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical engineering and overall commercial ground up construction development process
- Strong computer skills required include proficiency in Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom, Procore, Smartsheet, and other internal software and project management tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent oral/written communication and strong interpersonal skills are a must.
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to situational changes.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
