Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or potential problems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery and replacing worn-out parts
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Duties
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at our facility. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of all equipment and systems. Your role will involve supervising a team of maintenance technicians and coordinating maintenance activities.
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
1. Industrial Maintenance: Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures.
2. Mechanical Knowledge: Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment.
3. Supervising: Experience in supervising a team of maintenance technicians.
4. Facilities Management: Understanding of facilities management principles.
5. Logic Controllers: Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
6. CMMS: Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
7. Fabrication: Ability to fabricate or repair parts as needed.
8. English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
9. HVAC: Basic knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
