Requirements
- Masters degree in School Psychology
- Active state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience with virtual service delivery platforms and telepractice technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conducting psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic achievement levels, social-emotional functioning, and behavioral issues.
- Interpreting assessment results to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas needing intervention or support.
- Developing and implementing interventions and strategies to address students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Consulting with educators and parents on behavioral management strategies, learning difficulties, and mental health concerns.
- Advocating for students' educational and psychological needs within the school system.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and counseling sessions.
