Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for directing the sales activities within our dealership, ensuring not only the growth of sales but also the development of our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Recruit, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
· Develop strategic sales staffing and training initiatives that enhance sales programs.
· Set and manage objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profits.
· Oversee salesperson productivity and performance.
· Manage new and used vehicle inventory acquisition and ordering.
· Implement and oversee factory-sponsored programs.
· Optimize vehicle display, merchandising, and promotional efforts.
· Conduct market analysis and review sales reports to tailor sales strategies to customer needs and potential.
· Serve as the primary liaison between the sales department and other operational areas within the dealership.
· Manage and adhere to departmental budgeting and spending.
· Maintain a professional appearance and participate in manager meetings.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Used Car Sales Manager or similar managerial role in automotive sales.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
· Excellent organizational, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
