Our HR Business Partner plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. The HRBP is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant and partner to management on human resources related issues. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The Human Resources Business Partner maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition. What the HR Business Partner Does Each Day:
- Oversees the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resources staff
- Monitors administration to established standards and procedures. Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves any discrepancies
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units
- Consults with senior management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Monitors HR Metrics and provide detailed reporting to Senior Director monthly or as needed; analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning and succession planning
- Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
- Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested to track strategic goal accomplishment
- Administers programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
- Reviews, guides, and approves management and generalist recommendations for employment terminations
- Directs the preparation of information requested or required for compliance with laws
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
- Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations
- Manages a company-wide process of organization development that addresses issues such as succession planning, superior workforce development, key employee retention, organization design and change management
- Keeps Human Resources Leadership and the executive team informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of company goals, and those that are not being addressed adequately at the line management level
- Provide oversight to New Employee Orientation
- Assists with and participate in Employee Engagement initiatives

Minimum Requirements for this Role:
- Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience
- 7-10 years of progressive strategic leadership experience in Human Resources positions
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
