ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the clinical monitoring, coordinating, and implementing of the dietary program in accordance with state and JCAHO Standards Serves as the dietary liaison between clinical unit and facility staff.
- Provides on-to-one intervention and follow-up of clients with eating disorders.
- Provides input to facility administration regarding treatment response and progress reports of patients on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Monitors and documents treatment responses of clients and documents.
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely entries are made for each client contact.
- Assess the dietary and health needs of clients, develop meal plans for clients, gauge the effects of these meal plans, and performs follow-ups in a timely manner.
- Develops and conducts in-service education programs according to annual in-service calendar
- Must adhere to agency's non-discrimination policies.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, life-styles, and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in dietetics and dietetic internship.
- Active RD/LD license in the state of Texas
- Experience working in a treatment facility with eating disorder population a plus.
- Strong communication skills amongst clients and within all necessary departments.
- Familiarity with Google software.
