We’re Spicewalla, the hip, chef-inspired spice & gift company out of Asheville, NC, and we’re joining the amazing food scene in Charleston with a new retail store off of King Street. We’re looking for a few friendly, upbeat retail sales associates to help us spread the Spicy word. Are you in the know on the hottest new pickles on instagram or that trendy coffee shop in Park Circle and looking for a fun part-time gig? If so, you’re just who we’re looking for! Come spend 12 - 20 hours a week chatting with our customers about all your culinary adventures in our inspiring, colorful new shop. What You’ll Do:
- Create a mind-blasting experience for our guests by chatting about ways to use our products and what your favorite blends and recipes are
- Change new customers into loyal Spicewalla’s through a great store experience and introduction to our awesome social media and email content (new recipes, spice education, chef spotlights, and more)
- Keep the store clean, well-stocked, and organized
- Basically, be a fun person for our guests to spend time with, knowledgeable about our products, and attentive to the look of the store
What you need to Succeed:
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a natural problem-solver
- Experience running a Point of Sale system (we use Shopify)
- Ability to work weekends and some holidays
- Excitement about joining a supportive, fun team of people
- Interest in learning more about Spicewalla, our products, and our culture
- A high school education or equivalent
