Job Description
We are looking for a Two-Way Radio Systems Technician to join our team based in Evansville, Indiana. In this position, you will be responsible for customer installations and maintenance of electronic and communications equipment in buildings and critical use vehicles. We rely on the expertise of our technicians in delivering the best service and products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
· Install, program, and maintain complex communication systems for education, healthcare, manufacturing, public safety, and other mission-critical customers.
· Troubleshoot and repair radio equipment, including diagnosing faults and replacing faulty components
· Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections of radio equipment
· Assist and collaborate well with the respective sales team, Service manager and customer in coordinating project installations
· Provide excellent customer service by communicating technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner
· Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
·
· Work without direct supervision for extended periods of time
· Participate in the on-call rotation.
· Complete necessary training and certifications
Candidate Qualifications
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering technology, Electronics and Computer Technology, or IT
· Certified Electronics Technician Certification (CET) from ETA – preferred not required.
· Knowledge of Radio-frequency (RF) Systems and networking design/troubleshooting.
· Successful candidate for this role must have 1-2 years of experience in the radio communications services industry or related technician experience in a similar industry.
· Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
· Have a mechanical aptitude and ability to use various types of hand and power tools.
· Ability to complete reports and documentation associated with job tasks.
· Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers and customers
· Must possess a positive, team-oriented attitude
· Must have a current, valid driver’s license
· Must be able to obtain background clearance.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
