JOB DUTIES
- Oversee the hiring of new employees by selecting candidates for interviews and orienting/transitioning employees into the company environment
- Administer and maintain employee leave records and benefits
- Maintain a schedule for periodic employee evaluations
- Create and update working regimens as necessary for the training and betterment of employees
- Update and renew all company licenses and insurance policies
- Complete and process paperwork for insurance company appointments
- Generate and review employee incentive commission statements for distribution
- Assist producers with contract or commission statement inquiries
- Upkeep office equipment (scheduling repairs as necessary) and supplies (ordering when supplies are low)
- Closely monitor changing employment laws and implement these changes as necessary to make sure the workplace is in compliance with the law
- Train and assist employees with computer usage
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual (Mandarin & English)
- Good organization skills
- Self-Motivated
- Good phone skills and patience
- Fast Learner
- Must be able to operate in a fast paced/demanding environment
- Office administration or HR-related experience is a plus
- Insurance experience is a plus
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
