Employment Status: Full Time (FT=36+ hours)
Working Hours: 40 hours a week (80 hours per pay period)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (No Weekends or Holidays)
Shift: 1st shift (8AM-4:30PM or 8:30AM - 5PM **Subject to change for Organization's Peak Hours)
Position Reports to: Manager of Patient Accounts
Department Description: Wilson Health's Patient’s Account Department is responsible for handling the hospital billing and collection aspects of the patient’s care during the service date (The date/date(s) when care was provided to the patient from the hospital or provider).
Job Summary: Under the directions of the Director/Manager of Patient Accounts the Self Pay Rep will send out patient statements, make/answer patient calls, send out HCAP forms, and ensure when HCAP form is sent back that it has been completed correctly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Printing and mailing patient statements.
- Self-Pay Rep will call patients with outstanding balances to try to collect payment.
- Mailing out HCAP form to patients to see if the patient is qualified for financial assistance.
- HCAP form is received, Self-Pay Rep will ensure it was completed correctly. If not, the Self Pay Rep will call patient, advise of error(s), and mail new HCAP form to patient.
- Works mail as it applies to Self-Pay Rep.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
