Overview:
The DPP Production Scheduler is responsible creating an executable plan for the Packaging Team using the DPP Application. The Scheduler role ‘orchestrates’ the execution of the committed MPS (Master Production Schedule) through creating schedules in the Daily Production Planner program. The scheduler partners with the site functions to develop ‘winning’ and ‘executable’ schedules that meet MPS target goals, packaging labor goals, warehouse velocity and optimize use of site packaging equipment. Schedule for this position will be Sunday – Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Write and publish high-quality production schedules

Set and publish accurate and attainable targets to the packaging floor

Accurate and updated Master Line Schedule Templates

Maintain DPP/SCE maintenance settings for optimal plant production

DPP Acceptance Days
-
SCE Demand Prioritization
-
DPP Platform and Seasoning sequences and throughputs
-
Manage optimal inventory levels across produced products
-
Work with product supply on eliminating infeasible pounds in Horizons 1 - 3

Drive quality replenishment planning with daily committed solves

Holiday/Summer Line capacity planning

Development and execution of key Supply Chain initiatives (BPs, PCTs, volume pushes)

Facilitate daily and weekly site venues
Compensation & benefits:
-
The expected compensation range for this position is between $42,000 - $67,000 based on a full-time schedule.

Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.

Qualifications:
- GED or High school experience

Supply and demand planning application experience (DRP, SAP) - preferred

Previous production manufacturing experience - preferred

Ability to make trade-off decisions that impact multiple business functions

Strong influencing skills with site leaders

Strong data-based decision-making skills

Adept at using MS Excel-based tools and reports
