Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Create and develop menus that are innovative and appealing to customers
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments, such as the front-of-house team, to ensure a seamless dining experience for customers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food management and hospitality industry standards
- Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation
- Ability to effectively manage a kitchen team and delegate tasks
- Knowledge of food service management principles, including menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
- Familiarity with dietary department regulations and guidelines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
