Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide direct support and assistance to residents in their daily activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, meal preparation, medication administration, and working with seniors or individuals with autism.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Ensure resident rights are respected and maintained at all times
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Ability to work effectively with seniors or individuals with autism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
