The School of Public Health at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full‐time tenure track/tenured Assistant/Associate Professor for the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health. The successful candidate will conduct cutting edge research and provide mentoring for masters and doctoral students. Our multidisciplinary department provides courses in environmental health, occupational safety, ergonomics and other areas of public health. The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, collaborate with academic teams on scholarship and curriculum, and engage in professional service. This tenure track/tenured position is a 9-month appointment would ideally start on or before August 1, 2025. About the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health
The department (https://public-health.tamu.edu/departments/eoh/index.html) has 14 full time faculty members, is the administrative home of the Ergonomics Center and the Center for Population Health and Aging and trains approximately 60 graduate students annually. It offers a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety and Health, and Doctor of Public Health (DrPH). Additionally, Environmental and Occupational Health faculty teach in the School’s undergraduate degree program, which has nearly 2,500 students, including a minor in Occupational Safety and Health, available to all Texas A&M majors.
