Strange Bird Hospitality is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team! We own and operate Nat's on Bank, The Orchard Townhouse and Nat's Mountain House. This position is based in NYC at Nat’s on Bank.
We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to assist in leading our BOH team alongside our CDC and Executive Chef. We nurture community and the opportunity to break bread with friends in a fun, artful environment. Our food is elevated New York classics with a touch of whimsy.
Reporting directly to the Chef de Cuisine, this position will be responsible for assisting with ordering, inventory, cost control, and supervision and training of staff. Previous leadership/management experience is required.
Must have hands on management style with strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse staff. Strong line skills are required.
