A day in the life of a Research Data Processor:
· Accurately transfer data from one database to another
· Problem solve data issues so transfers are done accurately
· Mapping for legal descriptions
· Review reports for accuracy
· Cross-train for set-up (order entry/intake)
· Communication via phone or email with the customer, other title offices, and county agencies
· Other duties as assigned
Research Data Processor Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior real estate/title experience, preferred
- Prior data entry experience, preferred
- Familiarity with legal descriptions and mapping, preferred
- Basic algebra and geometry skills
- Ability to stay focused on a single project for an extended period of time
- Ability to sit at a desk and process computer research for extended periods
- Extreme attention to details, required
- Self-starter with the ability to process detailed and accurate work, meet deadlines and work independently
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to flex with changing circumstances
- Effective communicator (verbal, written, and body language)
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive can-do attitude
- Proficient knowledge of software programs utilized (Microsoft Suite products and industry specific products)
