We are looking for a career minded and responsible Home Delivery Specialist/Helper to provide top of the line services to our customers. Join us if you are dedicated, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering a superior customer experience. This is a dedicated 8 hour a day account that runs Monday-Saturday with choice of 4,5, or 6 days. 2 man teams will operate pallet jack and deliver household goods either as a drop and go or threshold delivery. NO ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED. Typical day begins at 7:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm.
PAID TRAINING FOR ALL POSITIONS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle (DRIVERS) to transport furniture & household goods to residential and commercial locations in the Phoenix, AZ and surrounding locations. Radius of 75 miles from the hub.
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture & household goods from the delivery vehicle with a pallet jack.
- Efficiently organize and follow delivery routes to meet delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to customer inquiries.
- Ensure the accurate and secure delivery of furniture & household goods, obtaining signatures and confirming receipt when necessary.
- Report any delivery or vehicle maintenance issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (DRIVERS)
- VALID ID (HELPERS)
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry furniture & household goods.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools.
- Familiarity with iphone or android apps.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
