As a UX researcher, you'll collaborate directly with fellow researchers and cross-functional teams (XFN) to design and execute research initiatives. Our team operates as a tightly integrated pod, granting us the autonomy and resources necessary for conceiving, developing, and launching innovative products. Research lies at the heart of our organization's success: formative research uncovers latent needs and critical problems, iterative design research shapes early product concepts into testable prototypes, and evaluative research enhances and readies these products for market. In this role, speed, agility, and precise execution are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct qualitative research using appropriate methodologie
- Collaborate both independently and with cross-functional teams to develop and execute research projects
- Lead diverse research studies across all phases of the product development cycle
- Manage research vendors to enhance the capabilities of the research team
Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with problem-solving abilities and strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency in working autonomously and effectively managing time
- Experience with data analysis and using quantitative insights to define and support hypotheses
- Skillful storytelling to engage various audiences
- Demonstrated autonomy and effective decision-making to balance competing demands
- Strong mentoring skills for providing constructive performance feedback and support
Education/Experience:
- BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
- Prior experience working in tech, working at FAANGS especially Meta
- Experience in project management

ROLE A. Candidate will be working with 3rd party vendors, receiving intakes and helping with summary reports. Your day to day will consist of working with 3rd party vendors, getting intakes, understanding how these program works, working with directors, helping with summary reports
ROLE B. Candidate will primarily be focused on qualitative research. Your day to day will consist of qualitative research studies, lab studies on concepts, using classic qualitative research methods
Location: Remote ( Seattle, WA or New York, NY preffered)
Role type: Contract 12 Months Position
