We are currently hiring for a Payroll Specialist in our Niagara Falls Area! As a Payroll Specialist at Venture Forthe, you will be responsible for timely and accurately calculate and pay employees, address payroll related questions, and calculating employee eligibility as per the requirements of the Affordable Care Tax Act (ACA).
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data into Paycom from Alayacare and other sources;
- Update Paylocity payroll records changes. ( ex: exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job title and department, terminations)
- Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability,
- Record and maintain personal time off (PTO) in an accurate and timely fashion
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Timely communication and response to payroll inquiries and requests
- Ensure that the company payroll policies and procedures are maintained at all times
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Calculate, maintain and communicate employee insurance eligibility as per the requirements of the Affordable Care Tax Act.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Other job duties as assigned.
